I purchased a new vehicle

I had both of my vehicles there during the past several weeks. The wrong part was ordered on 1 vehicle and it took over a month and several trips to Tarboro to get that issure resolved. The 2nd vehicle had 3 issues. The simplest one was finding a slow leak in a rear tire which I was told was fixed. Over night the tire lost more air than before than when it was repaired so I had to take it to another tire business to get it patched again. This vehicle repairs also took several days to complete. A little disappointed in the length of time it took for the repairs to be performed. I can say Debra Harrell in the service dept is awesome!

Everyone was very good to me. Billy Whitley is a very great salesman. And because of this experience I have with Doug Henry, this is my 4th or 5th car that I have purchased. And I will go back again if I get another one in the future. James Jones

I can't tell you how refreshing my experience was. You boy need to bottle his format & send throughout GM. I know one thing. If I ever buy a car, I will ask for Billy. Our salesman Blake was great! Wasn’t pushy at all. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was calm and relaxing. Wasn’t the high stress you get at a lot of other dealerships. The service department and cleaning crew were also great! The cleaning person found items forgotten in my trade in and returned them. I would definitely come back to buy another vehicle.

I bought a 2025 Tahoe about 3 weeks ago from here. I noticed that my rear door unlock / lock switch was not lit. I’ve been twice to get it resolved with the last time being 10/13. That didn’t fix it. I called 10/16 to service and the girl I spoke with said she would get with the service manager and give me a call back. 10/18 and still have not had a call back.

I drove directly home on Tuesday after service. Put vehicle in garage . I get up this morning to head out of town. There is oil leaking all over my garage floor underneath my vehicle. Definitely not leaking when I carried in for oil change tire rotation.

It’s been 11 years since I purchased a vehicle because it has always been a stressful experience. Tanner made buying a car an easy process and I would not hesitate to refer a friend/ family member to him. The ease of the process and speed of paperwork was great. Purchased new car at dealership. Back door light wasn’t working took the car 2 different times to figure out the problem. Part was ordered said about 2 weeks before it would come in. I called back to see if it was in and it was. Left 2 messages on voicemail for a call back no call back so I tried another day and got someone. I told her to make sure that the rental car was situated for when I drop my car off the next day. I call on the way to the appointment to confirm rental car would be ready and was told it takes a couple of hours to get that taken care of. I made sure to mention when I scheduled about rental car. I was given a car that was at the dealership to drive to work and my car was fixed and it was brought to me at work later that day. I mostly deal with my local dealership and have never had a problem with them. But that I purchased the vehicle at Doug Henry it was better to get it resolved there.

The truck had an issue and they were able to get it in, check it out and fix it all in the same day. They were very professional and got the job done quickly. My extended warranty paid for part of the cost and the service professional contacted the warranty company on my behalf to get the coverage that was available. I ended up using the GM part as that was what was recommended for the repair. Very pleased with the dealership.

I had a good experience with the dealership. There were two things I was not satisfied with...1. I had an appointment for an oil change at 8:45 AM and asked about two things I had noticed with my truck. The oil change and diagnostics of the two issues took over 3.5 hours...I didn't leave the facility until 12:15 PM. 2. When I asked about the two issues, I was not informed there would be an $80.00 diagnostic fee up front...only when I got my final bill was I informed of this charge. I didn't mind paying for the service, but would have like to have known there would be a charge up front.

No problems while car was being serviced. I always get good service whenever I have to take my car.

All employees were very kind and helpful. Blake is the one that got the paperwork ready for me to sign and worked with us on different deals. Chris in the back office was great to work with when Blake wasn’t there to make the signing process seamless. Tanner was great on Tuesday showing me the different features of the car and helping me get everything set up.

Very friendly and professional associates at the service department desk. Needed a Tire monitor replaced and it was taken care of and costs were explained as asked before the work was done. As usual, a good experience all around.

Brought my 2015 Silverado in without a appointment,fans running would not shut off. The service department evaluated the issue and repaired while I waited in your lounge. Great service

Mechanic didn’t inspect my car correctly, and after having my car for a week, check engine light is still on, and they didn’t even check my windshield wipers, had to turn around and take it back so a bulb could be put in and when I got home the wipers have rubber hanging when you cut them on. Regular service for our 2021 Tahoe and to replace fuel pump module on recall. Dropped it off in the morning and they had everything complete by mid afternoon. Deborah used a coupon that was available for our service, which was unexpected but very much appreciated.

I had warranty work done. The fan for the ac/heat went out. They had to remove the front 2 seats & the dash. They did not put the trim/molding back together completely, there are cracks. They did not put the carpet back correctly and they scratched up the trim/molding. Also scratched the passenger door. In my opinion, they did not care that this was a $70,000 brand new Tahoe with less than 10,000 miles. We are supposed to take it back for them to correct.

It all started with your service department,which I used several times with my Silverado. I was always treated respectfully and with a smile. So when it came time to upgrade my ride I went there first While I walked through their lot a young man asked me if I needed any assistance. I said not today,and he gave me his card. So that's the back story. The next day I met Blake and he open each vehicle I was interested in. We talked about colors white verse's black. I settled on the Black equinox. Blake didn't sell me a vehicle I chose one . The application process was quick a painless, Blake explained each and every question I had. Now did I get a great deal...Yep, will I recommend Blake and the team at Doug Henry....Yep, will be a return customer...you betcha.

This was my second car purchased from Doug Henry in Tarboro. The first experience was in 2017 and was good enough to make Doug Henry the default choice of dealership. My Account Rep (?) was Blake Lassiter. We communicated several times by email prior to me coming into the dealership - which is my preference. Almost all of the details were resolved in advance, so the visit was stress-free. The dealership even paid me more for my trade than was initially estimated. Completion of the paperwork and financing was quick and painless. Overall, it was a good experience with the dealership and with Blake. I would recommend both to anyone in the market for a new Chevrolet.

First I was told my vehicle wasn’t “Priority” everytime I called in the evenings, no one knew the status of my vehicle, they had to go “Ask!! No communication between the mechanic and the service department!!! Then, the mechanic needed a Tool to work on my vehicle, again, nobody knew til I called and asked bout my vehicle!, later part of the day!!!! Six hour job turned into 5 days! Very upset, I work part-time, had to miss days because it took so long to fix my vehicle! I hope the mechanic got is “quota” in, working on other vehicles! Cause mine wasn’t a “Priority”

Quick service staff friendly

Our Trailblazer has not been repaired yet. Parts had to be ordered. We got the vehicle back to use until the parts come in. We don't know if driving it without the part will cause the issue to worsen as the screen says reduced speed due to check engine light
